EDMONTON -- A B.C. woman and her seven-year-old daughter are confirmed dead and the woman's father and a family friend are missing and presumed dead after their boat overturned sometime after Wednesday evening north of Inuvik, N.W.T.

Her grandfather has been going up there since he was a child. She said hundreds gather at the camp every year to harvest belugas.
