À la suite d’un appel à l’aide d’une dame qui s’est vu obligée de se débarrasser de ses chats, parce qu’elle dépasse le nombre permis par la municipalité, la SPCA a entrepris de prendre position et de mener une lutte comme ces règlements parfois abusifs.Nous lançons donc le projet de recherche collective sur les règlements municipaux pour Montréal et ses environs:Voici comment vous pouvez participer à cette recherche collective : En consultant le site Web de votre arrondissement ou de votre municipalité pour trouver le règlement municipal concernant le nombre d’animaux autorisés ménage et en envoyant ce lien à adevine@spcamontreal.com tout en mentionnant dans votre message le nom de l’arrondissement et de la municipalité et un résumé du règlement. After an urgent phone call from a citizen who will be obliged to abandon her cats because she exceeds the number of cats permitted by her Municipality, the SPCA wants to take an official public position against these often abusive municipal by-laws.We are trying to research the municipal by-laws for municipalities in and around the island of Montreal.Here is how you can help us with this research:By consulting the website of your municipality or arrondissement, you can find the by-laws which concern animal control (and the number of animals permitted per household).
