I would like to thank the Officers & Committee of the Downlands SBTC for their hospitality & the running of a very well run show.
I thoroughly enjoyed my day, and would like to thank the exhibitors for the excellent entry, and for the sporting manner in which they accepted my decisions.
A couple of things that need to be addressed is the bitches are getting to light boned the breed standard says well boned not light, what has happened to the feminine head to many bitches looking like dogs, and fitness many exhibitors lost out on high placings or placing due to lack of fitness. Myself and my Co-Judge were in complete agreement on all our decisions.
Plus a special Thank You to my two stewards for the smooth running of the ring.



VETERAN

1st - MCFADYEN - CH.ARAIDH DEVIL MAY CARE

Black/Brindle – In lovely condition for her age, have awarded this cracking bitch a CC & BOB before it was nice to see her again and she put a lot of the young to shame, well proportioned feminine head strong but not over done, with a wicked expression, correct bite, neat rose ears, dark round eyes, good front & shoulders, well boned, nice spring of rib, level topline, good bend of stifle, coat in gleaming condition, neat tail, moved and handled 1 st class. BEST VETERAN IN SHOW

2nd -COCKINGS - DUSKY ANGEL

Black/Brindle – Good head & expression, correct bite, round eyes, neat ears, good front, well boned, good spring of rib, level topline, good bend of stifle. Moved & handled well.



MINOR PUPPY

1st - HOPKINS - TRUFFLESTAFF MONIFA KANIKA


Black - What a puppy, Very well put together bitch, nothing over done at all and bang in the standard, she has a wicked feminine expression, cracking head, neat rose ears, round dark eye, correct bite, lips tight, well placed shoulders, good reach of neck, very good in the front and well boned, level topline, good spring of rib, good bend of stifle, correct tail set, coat in gleaming condition, moved beautifully for one so young and handled first class, this is one girl that is going to have a very bright future ahead of her, pleased to award her the RCC and BEST PUPPY IN SHOW.

2nd - ROBINSON & HEDGES - LEGER PHOTO FINISH FOR RAMBLIX

Black/ Brindle, lovely feminine head & expression, good stop, round dark eye, correct bite, neat rose ears, nice & straight in front, nicely boned with good neat feet, well placed shoulders, good spring of rib, level topline, good tuck up, good bend of stifle, neat tail, in good condition, moved & handled very well, pushed all the way for 1st, just splitting hairs.

Black/White Markings - Another promising youngster, has all the attributes of 1st place winner, pushed all the way for 1st, just splitting hairs, will change places on many occasions.

Black/Brindle - Cracking bitch that fits the standard, wicked feminine expression, broad skull, correct bite, round dark eyes, neat rose ears, tight lip, good strength of muzzle and not over done at all, legs straight and well boned, cracking front, powerful neck leading into well placed shoulders, neat tuck up, well sprung ribs, level topline standing and on the move, good bend of stifle, neat tail, muscular body, moved with plenty of drive up and down the mat, in excellent hard and fit condition, excellent coat, shown to perfection.
Pleased to award her the CC, BOS & RES BEST IN SHOW.
