Canadian Reptile Breeders Expo Update Sept 18 - 19

I was putting together the vendor list for the upcoming Canadian Reptile Breeders Expo on Sept 18 and 19th here in Toronto....

I have to tell you that this is really in my opinion going to be an event like nothing ever here in Canada....

With the vendor list that is shaping up to be how do I say it the who is who of the industry in Eastern Canada, along with fingers crossed all of the western Canadian reptile breeders/players. This weekend event is going to really show everyone that as Canadians we are on top of the hobby!

Added a few items of interest like workshops on working with ultrasounds and your reptiles, proper sexing techniques. Then top it off with guest speakers like Neil Meister, Mark Mandic, John and Rich of Snakeman Exotics, BHB, Tom Mason oh and Dr Fry from Australia.... I am pretty sure there is a bit of everything for all that are looking to enjoy the hobby a little more!

The local hotel of choice (Holiday Inn Express) is again hosting the REPTILES Magazine party for vendors and VIP on Saturday night.


I hope that everyone can make their way out for this event, its really an unbelievable weekend in the Canadian Reptile Hobby....

I hope Hall 6 is better than the 4 (I think) the show was held at.
I hope there is a cash machine closer.

Better food and I hope you planned something better for the speakers. It wasn't easy to hear what they were saying cause of the surronding sounds.

Hall 6 is one of the premium halls facing Airport Road....There are two debit machines on site as well as I have to confirm two more within walking distance....

The food well I would suggest bring a lunch, thats the facility server not me and I am handcuffed with that LOL....


We did learn from last years faults regarding the speakers and are very confident it will not happen this year....

Something of this size isn't born or hatched perfect it takes time and many learning experiences....Thanks for your input and I am hoping that the many vendors from the Quebec area will also be confirming their participation soon as well....

I will add you to the vendor list with the anticipation of your forms to come in....

I am not sure what raffle we will be holding but I am sure there will be something as door prizes on the spot throughout the weekend....

The exposure that vendors will receive from the weekend is awesome! Being that its the same weekend as the national pet trade show and being in the same complex there is huge potential for vendors to offer their items and reptiles on both a retail and wholesale level!

Most importantly though the CRBE show's the pet trade how united as a group we are and how large the hobby has grown. With the potential of turning more stores into educated providers of reptiles and reptile products....
