Are we ever super excited! After close to 5 months in the works we're happy to finally announce that we now have another carrier on board to service our reptile & aquatics shipments at Reptile Express! We're happy to announce that FedEx is that carrier and we couldn't be more pleased to get them on board finally! It certainly wasn't easy. It wasn't long ago when they simply hung up the phone on us with our request, and when our volumes weren't to their satisfactions. However it's much different now. Our volumes have increased tremendously, and they were much more willing to co-operate.The head ups gave the okay for us to send in our custom boxes to be tested (burst test, freefall test and so on), and went through the legal department etc etc...I won't bore you with all that, and finally we've come to an agreed upon contract! Now let's get to the fun stuff! We're pleased to provide you with all the NEW and exciting features of our service:1) Real Time Tracking! We love the tracking system FedEx has in place. Updates are given everytime the package changes hands. 2) Over 1,000 drop off locations at any FedEx or FedEx Authorized Shipping Centre! Don't want to wait at home to receive a pickup? No problem! Drop off at any of these centres before their cut off times!3) Prefer the Pickup feature? No problem, we still offer it!4) Delivery and status updates sent immediately to you via email!5) Thought our rates were affordable before? Check them out now! With our huge shipping volumes, we've obtained a fantastic tarriff!6) Our service areas have INCREASED! Did we ever tell you that you're in our 2 day zone? Well scratch that....as you may now be in a next day delivery zone!7) Download the FedEx mobile app and track your shipments off your smartphone anytime!http://www.fedex.com/ca_english/mobile/index.htmlAll this is offered to provide our clients with the utmost convenience when shipping their animals, as well as the peace of mind of being able to track their shipments anytime day/night!We hope you're all as excited as we are, as this certainly does open the doors for many and certainly makes shipping that much more stress-free.Our clients have been super fantastic with us for a little over 2yrs now, and we constantly want to better our service for them! We always appreciate your business! Now I will have to get into this next section here, since it won't be up on our site until next week. DISCLAIMER:1) Anyone caught using Reptile Express' account information without our consent to ship packages will be taken to court by Reptile Express for fraud and by FedEx for shipping live animals without their approval. Court and lawyer fees will be the responsibility of the accused as per FedEx and Reptile Express TOS. We can easily view online which shipments are being used with our account info. 2) Anyone caught or known to be shipping Reptiles or Aquatics without the consent of Reptile Express will be reported immediately to FedEx's legal department to handle. 3) No illegally smuggled species or venomous animals can be shipped through Reptile Express or FedEx. The consequences for this are tremendous, I assure you. We have the Federal Wildlife officers contact info, and we've certainly seen what she's capable of doing in court, and her miticulous research abilities to locate the parties involved. 4) Only Reptile Express' custom boxes/kits can be used when using FedEx as per our contract with FedEx. Our contract was obtained based on our boxes passing FedEx testing. The reasoning for the above conditions being implemented/mentioned are that it only takes one person to ruin it for the rest. As the expression goes.We have total respect for FedEx as unlike other carriers they really make sure all the details are done to the "T". They want to minimize any room for error, and make sure that everyone involved is aware of what's going on. This is why waiting for an answer from them for 5 months was our pleasure.Reptile Express has worked extremely hard to be eligible for and obtain this contract, and we have a zero tolerance policy for whomever will jeopardize that for us, as well as the reptile community as a whole. We did not go into this blind, we have litigation lawyers aware of our service and conditions, as well as the aforementioned Federal Wildlife officers from Environment Canada, as well as FedEx having their own legal department which certainly isn't anything anybody would want to be involved with.Let's all enjoy this wonderful new "privilege" we've been given and not mess it up for everybody else. We look forward to serving many of you, and your precious cargo! If you haven't done so already, pls join us on Facebook for constant updates regarding this new service: www.facebook.com/ReptileExpressThanks,-Sam FardReptile Expresswww.reptileexpress.comreptileexpress@hotmail.com1.888.949.7447 (SHIP)647.269.8465 Partager ce message Lien à poster Partager sur d’autres sites
