I bought 4 in the hope that I would be able to get a breeding pair from them.
It is too early to sex these little ones yet but they are great fun and very pretty.
Long term plans are to breed these as they are rare in UK collections.

J'ai acheté 4 dans l'espoir que je serais en mesure d'obtenir un couple reproducteur d'eux.
Il est trop tôt pour le sexe ces petits pas encore, mais ils sont très amusants et très jolie.

They are 3-4 months old and will soon lose the colouring on the head which is a shame.
That is why I am taking so many pictures of them while they are still young lol.

I wont be going to Snake day. I appreciate the beauty of snakes but have no desire to own them.
I prefer my reptiles to have a leg in each corner

C'est pourquoi je prends tellement de photos d'eux alors qu'ils sont encore jeunes lol.

Je ne vais pas aller au jour Snake. J'apprécie la beauté des serpents, mais n'ont aucun désir de les posséder.
Je préfère ma reptiles d'avoir une jambe dans chaque coin

and, perhaps, something legged is behind the corner here, too........but not varans, i have not the right feeling, unfortunately

as U know V. dumerili and V. flavescens are my preferred

I have been after these for a while now and then 4 turn up.
You have good taste in varanids but V. Flavescens are fairly hard to find (in the UK anyway)

I put your new pictures and videos on your first post for full monitoring of your Varanus dumerili since their arriving at your house until today
It's very interesting to see them evolve.
They are really great! A feast for the eyes.
What a joy to keep them, you should be very proud.

I thought it was time I should update this post.
All 4 little ones are growing fast and eating well. No signs of aggression (though they will be separated when older).
They still appear to be 50-50 arboreal and aquatic.
Mainly feed on the ground but have obseved them eating amongst the foliage too.
Starting to loose the bright orange colouration to their heads but still gorgeous.

J'ai pensé qu'il était temps que je doit mettre à jour ce post.
Tous les quatre petits grandissent vite et bien manger. Pas de signes d'agressivité (bien qu'ils seront séparés lorsqu'ils sont plus âgés).
Ils semblent encore être 50-50 arboricole et aquatique.
Se nourrissent principalement sur ​​le terrain mais ont obseved les manger parmi le feuillage trop.
À partir de perdre la coloration orange vif à leur tête, mais toujours magnifique.
