Jaelle1 0 Posté(e) le 15 septembre 2007 Citation :Bindi good morning crystal...we thought we would send news of bindi and what she is up to...she has totally settled in here...we have about 2000 sticks scattered around outside courtesy of herself and how she feels about outdoor decor!! our older boxer is sweet and tolerant with her and allows her to climb on his head and gnaw on his legs and neck when she wants his attention!! in the car she likes to sit on his head while she looks out the window and barks at strangers!! she is very smart,is able to go in search of her stuffed bunny when asked to, and although she shakes it and throws it in the air, it still has it's arms, legs and ears(but no stuffing!!) Her anxiety over being alone in a room is almost gone and although she still cries when people leave the house, she frequently goes off by herself to sleep....she can shake a paw...she goes to sleep with the other dog on their bed at night but usually i wake up with her next to me ....she has gained a lot of weight but it has not been easy since she needs to constantly be reminded to finish her meals....taking time to eat is not at the top of her to-do list!!! We all are crazy about her, as is anyone who has met her. Sid Hi Melissa & Crystal, He's a dream dog! He settled in quite well on Friday and greeted Frank like they were long lost pals. He didn't leave his side all Friday night. He slept with us on the Friday night (under the covers of course) and woke me up at 7 ish to go out for a nice walk- then back in home for breakfast a little romping around and a sleep on his pillow. On Saturday we had a St. Patrick's day celebration at my sister's out in Ormstown and he loved the kids- he was so good with them, I was totally impressed. He was so tired out from the boys playing with him that he fell asleep so fast when we got home, and he slept on his pillow all night long, waking me up at around 8am. He must have been tired. We were up this morning for our walk - breakfast and bonding time before work. Then he walks into his crate and waits for his Kong! He also knows where to find his treats, leash all his many toys! We love him and so does everyone that meets him. More updates to come! Thanks Again, Christine & Frank and big Sid!
