Incendie à La Humane Society de Durham

J'ai reçu un couriel de Lin de Funny Farm Boutique. Vous le savez probablement, mais la Humane Society de Durham a passé au feu le 17 décembre dernier. Dans cet incendie plus de 200 animaux ont perdu la vie. Jusqu'au 31 janvier 2009, 7,50$ sera remis à l'organisme pour chaque laisse et collier vendus.

Hello there,

I am sure that you will have heard by now that our local Humane Society was destroyed by fire December 17th, 2008. Our sincerest condolences go out to the dedicated staff and volunteers on the devastating loss of around 200 animals that they loved and cared for on a daily basis. We have supported The Humane Society of Durham Region for many years and are compelled to help them even more after this tragedy. Until January 31st, 2009 www.funnyfarmboutique.ca will be donating $7.50 for every collar AND leash that is purchased during this time, be sure to put "Durham Humane" in the comments box on checkout. If you do not know of a dog that needs a funky new collar or leash right now, then we urge you to please go to www.humanedurham.com and make a donation directly to them. They lost everything and once they have a new location, they will be needing computers, furniture, crates... well, everything! They absolutely must be helped for they have loved, sheltered and re-homed needy animals for years and they need our help to continue. It is our turn to step up and be counted... Please find it in your heart to help us help them right now. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Hi all,

Thank you so much for the response for help with our fundraiser in support of Humane Society of Durham Region who recently lost everything in a fire....

We have news, GREAT news... Colleen Anderson and her family are famous for supporting worthwhile causes, and they have offered to match dollar for dollar, the amount that we raise during this entire fundraiser!!! That means, that for every collar and every leash sold, $15 will be donated to help our Humane Society. They will even donate $7.50 for every silver-plated star and every one of Courtney's name-tags that is sold as well. We cannot thank them enough and now we are once again asking you to help us out here please... knowing that $15 will be donated for each collar and each leash for the entire fundraiser will surely help to spur you into action... :)
