STERI-ANIMAL is currently experiencing a high volume of pregnant cat/kittens. We don't have a shelter therefore we operate under foster home network. However, most of our current foster homes are either on vacation during this time of the year or they already are filled with our foster cats. Please help spread the word out to your contacts to help these poor kitties.

To list some of the most urgent cases of cats that we have, please see below:

1. Zorica: female tabby and white was found outside pregnant and gave birth to 4 kittens in the rain. They got sick and had bad eye infection. Now, they have all been treated by our vet and are vaccinated. However, their current foster can no longer keep them since her landlord doesn't want to allow to have pets in the apartmen. So, they (Zorica and two of the kittens) have to find another foster home, preferably with no other animals since they are still being treated for ringworms. Zorica is super sweet and calm, she won't give you too much trouble~She can be separated with her two kittens. If you can take any one of them, it would be a great help!

2. Lou-Lou and Lockie: Lou-Lou is the white female kittens approximately 4 months old. Lockie is her brother (black and white). Their current foster thinks that she can no longer keep them, so she would like us to find them a home/foster. This foster is very unstable and gives us a hard time every once in a while when she is depressed, so we are not going to deal with her anymore after these kittens have found a place to go. They are very sweet little kittens that sleeps with the foster every night. Vaccinated.

3. Peter and Saidey: Peter is the grey and white cat (under a year old), Saidey is black and white. Both siblings were found outside and are semi-feral. This does not mean that they are aggressive at all. They are simply very shy and need a foster who can understand their fear and be patient to allow them to come out of their shells at their own pace. They are currently fostered by one of our volunteers who has several other cats, therefore, they are being isolated in a small room. The volunteer does not have a lot of time to socialize them and has already her hands full with her own cats (one of her old cat is very sick). They are both sterilized and vaccinated.

4. Melody: light grey with some light orange spots, 3 months old female. She was found in an abandonned garage near Verdun area by herself. According to the person who found her, she had been there crying for 5 days before we caught her. She might be a bit timid at first but becomes very affectionate and purrs whenever you pet her.

5. Penny: a tabby girl about 1 year and a half. Similar to Peter and Saidey. Hyper-sensitive but sweet is what her current foster describes her. She is being attacked by the other two cats at the foster's home and since she is very docile, she becomes terrorized by them. The foster also has several health problem that she thinks she can not provide Penny proper care.

If you can help us foster any of the cats above, please contact us as soon as possible at: 514-884-5958 (Cindy) or 514-574-2463 (Annly) or by e-mail at: sterianimal@hotmail.com

Thank you for your help
