La police hongroise avait ouvert une enquête après la plainte d’une
organisation hongroise … mais après ? Il ne faut pas que des crimes envers
les animaux passent inaperçus – « endorsez » svp la lettre (polie) en
Anglais que j’ai adressée au Président + le Premier ministre hongrois ou
utilisez la comme lettre type en signant avec votre propre nom – ou mieux,
écrivez votre propre lettre.

Honourable President SÓLYOM,

Dear Prime Minister GYURCSÁNY,

The International Community of Animal Defenders is utterly shocked to learn
that the Hungarian Film Week awarded a price to a film (Alszent) in which a
kitten has been killed by drowning - for the sake of “fine arts”! This is
against the Law in all civilised countries, this is a criminal act.

We come to ask you for a serious investigation in this matter of animal
cruelty.

Please make sure that the director of the film, the cameraman, the person
which made the footage and everybody who was knowingly involved in this
revolting story, will receive a severe punishment.

Please also blame the Film Week publicly for having no ethical values and
for their lack of respect towards an innocent living creature. They have
tarnished the Hungarian cultural scene.

We thank you for your attention and await further news about this shocking
behaviour of people calling themselves “artists”.
