animo-aequoanimo 0 Posté(e) le 21 juin 2007 A ABSOLUMENT BESOIN D'UNE FAMILLE CETTE SEMAINE. (english below) Mâle de 6 ans. Très gentil. Fut entraîné pour la chasse. Fut gardé toute sa vie dans un chenil dont il sortait uniquement pour aller chasser. Maintenant rejeté parce que trop âgé pour cette activité (ne peut plus performer autant). A besoin d'une cour clôturée ou d'être tenu en laisse pour ses sorties car était habitué à courir derrière les odeurs. Il n'a aucun problème de santé, sauf de l'usure aux coudes à force d'être toujours couché au sol. Fut élevé pour le travail mais tout ce qu'on lui offrait comme retraite était la mort. He was used by a Quebec horse hunting club (people chasing a bag of fox urine on horse back) for the last six years. He was kept in a kennel his whole life,o nly let out when it was time for the chase. Now at 6 years old he is dumped for being too old to hunt.( deemed useless just like the horses who cannot perform anymore) He is a bit timid when you meet him at first but once he knows you won't hurt him he is so sweet. He has no heallth issues, just a few sore spots from sleeping on the ground. He would need to have a home that would walk him on a leash or have a fenced in back yard because if he gets loose he will run as he was trained to do All he would love to do is become a couch potato.....somewhere soft to sleep without the constant bark of other hounds hoping to get out and run.
