Hi Dirk, We are leaving the UK at 9pm GMT on 10 Dec. 35 in the party. I bought a nice 08 bred Cock on sunday at our NPA Show at Pickering in North Yorckshire.You may know the guy I bought it from his name is Dennis Van Doorn from Holland. I only bought for it's colour,I think you would call it a (Indigo Spread) It is a nice bird hoping it will be OK as a stock bird for me. Thanks for the post.Cheers Bill.

Hi Dirk,Thanks for the info.Would like to have gone to the show in Leipzig I have been told it is a much larger show,but it is much to far for us to travel.It takes us 15/17 hours to get to Dortmund.I am hoping to buy a few more Show Racers again this year.I have bred 26 young birds off the birds I bought last year,and some are looking very promising up to now.I can't seem to download any photos to the forum to show them to you,but my avatar is a photo of a young Blue cock I bred this year. Hi All, We are coming over from UK to the Dortmund Show. We are leaving England on 10 Dec arriving 11Dec.There are about 35-40 of us on the trip.I am hopeing to buy some more Americans as I did last year.I bred 26 young americans this year,most off the birds I bought in Dortmund last year.Will any of you guys off the forum be there,as i would like to meet-up with you.I am still not able to post any photos on the forum,but the photo in my profile (Avitar) is a young blue cock I bred this year.Cheers Bill.

Hi Dirk, Nice to here from you, I have bred 10 youngsters up to now, And 5 pair down on eggs.I had a bit of a bad start with my breeding a lot of the cocks fighting and smashed eggs,so I am breeding another round, hope to breed around 20 young.The young I have bred seem OK but will tell better when they moult out and mature.I think a young blue bar I have bred will be the best it has a nice bold head. Hi TJ, I think Blue Cock Cage 899 is a nice bird. Blue Hen Cage 902 Nice Hen Blue ? Cage 904 Nice but seems lacking in bar. It's hard to judge from photos. Would love to handle them and get better opinion. Cheers ill.

We had some trouble getting the birds we bought onto the coach the car park attendants would not let the coach on the car park, so we had to carry the birds back to the Hotel. I personally bought some very nice American Show Racers, 13 in all Two pair of Whites, pair of Blues, pair of Red Cheqs, pair of Silver Bars, an Andalusian cock. A Yellow Cheq Hen and a Black Hen. Hi TJ, There is a coach load of us about 60 I think going to the Dortmund Show on the 29th Nov. We are coming from Nottinigham in the UK,I am hopeing to buy some American Show Racers,they seem to be getting very popular in the UK. I had some very nice ASR a few years back,that I imported from a Mr Clifford C Jones of Statan Island in New York,but could not seem to get them going in England at the time.I was wondering if Mr Jones still keeps ASR's Cheers Bill.
