1.1 Red Solomon Island Ground Boas

Bonjour!

Compatible pair of adult red Solomon Island
Ground Boas (the last three pictures at the bottom are the female).

Both are probably WC but have been in captivity for several years (I've
had them for over two years and the person I got them from owned them
for several months).

Both eat f/t rodents with no issues (the male usually fasts for a few
months during the winter and needs a lot of "dancing" to take his first
meal of the new year).

It's too late to breed them this year, but they can go in 2011.

Pick-up is available in Ottawa. Shipping is available (please inquire
for pricing), as is delivery in and around Ottawa for a fee.

For the uninitiated, Solomon Island Ground Boas (Candoia carinata
paulsoni) are small terrestrial boas. The males reach 2 feet, the
females 3.5-5 feet. They have slow metabolisms and eat every two weeks
and shed once or twice a year. They are very easy to care for (see www.candoia.ca for more
information).
