Please EMAIL any responses directly to: zoestevenslavigne@gmail.com. I am located 30 min East of Ottawa. Adult male jeweled lacerta - approximately three years old. In excellent health, beautiful colours, good eater. Doesn't like to be handled but isn't fearful or aggressive - he makes a great display lizard and is a riot to feed. Yearling female jeweled lacerta. She is shy, but has been getting more comfortable with me recently. I don't handle her much, but she will eat from tongs etc. She's currently in her own tank. The plan is to put them together when she's old enough. Included is: Large display tank (6 x 2 x 2 custom komodo terrarium - cost $700 to have it made!) Small grow-out tank for the female (20 or 30gal) and wire lid Two dome light fixtures, stands and mercury vapour bulbs (new from this spring - I replace them every spring and they are $30 each, or use tube lights and heat lamps separately) Any backup MV bulbs I have (already used, but will do in a pinch for a week or so if one of them breaks) Timer for the lights Thriving dubia colony and large heat pad so you will NEVER need to buy bugs! Ikea table for the 30gal tank Ikea cube bookcase and 2 x 6 sheet of plywood for the komodo terrarium Calc/vit powder, substrate, water dishes, cork bark etc. A snake hook if you want it (I have no use for it) $350 for the whole set-up. You will need a big van or a truck to move it all and a couple of people (we'll help move too - 3-4 people are needed to move the tank due to its size). I will take offers on just the lizards or lizards and some of the accessories, but I can't sell anything without the lizards. Trades/partial trades considered for random stuff: Yard items (riding mower, snow blower, beehive supplies, etc) Big screen TV (>40") Quality and/or antique furniture Services (e.g., handyman services) New(ish) laptop/tablet
  3. Je parle francais... si vous voulez une traduction ou si vous avez des questions envoyez-moi un courriel: zoestevenslavigne@gmail.com Adult male jeweled lacerta - approximately three years old. In excellent health, beautiful colours, good eater. Doesn't like to be handled but isn't fearful or aggressive - he makes a great display lizard. Yearly female jeweled lacerta - just realized I don't have a picture of her! But she's cute, small, and currently in her own tank. The plan is to put them together when the female is an adult. Included is: Large display tank (6 x 2 x 2 custom komodo terrarium) Small grow-out tank for the female (20 or 30gal) and wire lid Two dome light fixtures, stands and mercury vapour bulbs (new from this spring) Thriving dubia roach colony Ikea table for the 30gal tank Ikea cube bookcase and 2 x 6 sheet of plywood for the komodo terrarium Calc/vit powder, substrate, water dishes, cork bark etc. A snake hook if you want it (I use it to distract him while I feed because he will try to eat your fingers!) $500 for the whole set-up. You will need a big van or a truck to move it all and a couple of people (we'll help move too but that tank is heavy!) Trades/partial trades considered for random stuff: Yard items (riding mower, trampoline, etc) TV Quality and/or antique furniture Services (e.g., handyman services) Possibly other non-reptile animals including small livestock (chickens etc) Price is firm, no delivery. I'm just East of Ottawa, less than 1.5 hours from Montreal.
  4. Français ci-déssous Sorry for the relist. This pair is now officially up for sale but I do not know how to edit the original ad. The male (first two photos) is a CB (possibly CH) Jayapura type. Very tame, lots of blue, nice light and bright green. I have had him for over two years, he is a great eater and shedder and has no issues. He is about 3 now. The female (third and fourth photos) is a flawless LTC Aru female. She has been dewormed and has been in captivity for about a year. She eats and sheds wonderfully and is 3 or 4 years old. She is a deeper green with lots of white and blue. She is reasonably tame but will strike when she's had enough. I did not witness the probing of these snakes. I trust the individuals I got them from and am confident in their sexes (the snakes, not the people) but I do not guarantee them. However for serious inquiries I am willing to have them re-probed. I would also like to sell their enclosures with them - two atasuki terrariums about 30" x 20" x 24", fully planted, bio-active soil, radiant heat panels, full spectrum lighting with dimmer/timer combo, plants. Almost no maintenance required, just trimming and adding new water periodically. $2,500 is the price for the two snakes, the cages and all accessories, as well as any rodents I have left when they go. I would prefer not to sell the snakes without the cages but I will entertain offers. I will not ship or deliver (the tanks won't fit in my car) so local (Ottawa) or pick-up only. I can deliver just the snakes up to 2 hours with pre-payment. For more photos please see: http://zoestevens.smugmug.com/Snakes/Green-Tree-Python-Morelia/ The only partial trade offer I would consider is an eclectus parrot ($1000-$2000 value).
I have not yet decided if I want to sell my GTP pair but I am considering it for the right person/offer. The male is a CH Jayapura type. Tame, lots of blue, nice light and bright green. I have had him for over two years, he is a steady eater and shedder and has no issues. He is about 3 now. The female is a WC Aru female. She has been dewormed and has been in captivity for about a year, and is flawless. She eats and sheds wonderfully and is about 3 years old as well. She is a darker green with lots of white and blue. She is reasonably tame but will strike when she's had enough. I did not witness the probing of these snakes. I trust the individuals I got them from and am confident in their sexes but I do not guarantee them. However for serious inquiries I am willing to have them re-probed. I would also like to sell their enclosures with them - two atasuki terrariums about 30" x 20" x 24", fully planted, bio-active soil, radiant heat panels, full spectrum lighting with dimmer/timer combo. Almost no maintenance required, just trimming and adding new water periodically. I will not ship or deliver (the tanks won't fit in my car) so local (Ottawa) or pick-up only. I can deliver just the snakes up to 2 hours away. For more photos please see: http://zoestevens.smugmug.com/Snakes/Green-Tree-Python-Morelia/ (note: the yellow baby is a different snake) Please contact me with your offers (offers under $2000 will not be considered). The only trade offer I would consider is an eclectus parrot.
  6. Looking for a large fishtank or terrarium, at least 48" x 24" x 24" (but preferably no taller than 24" unless it's front opening) and at most 7' x 2.5' footprint. I really prefer glass tanks but will consider very nice wood or plastic cages. Stand would be nice but not required, and you must be in Ottawa or willing to deliver to Ottawa (I will pay gas for a few hours of travel). Please let me know what you have, and GTP trade could be arranged!
  7. I took in an adult male Cuban Knight Anole a few weeks ago, very underweight, injuries, and an eye problem. He has since been dewormed and has eaten vigorously so his weight is where it should be. His eye has stayed the same - it has not responded to flushing or antibiotics - as I expect it will for the rest of his life (it is covered with a thick white plaque that is attached to the eye). He cannot see out of it but it does not impair him very much. He is a beautiful lizard but does not enjoy being handled (he does like to be hand fed, though). He is best left as a display specimen. A beautiful one at that, as he is light blue with a pink dewlap. I cannot keep him long term and would like him to go to a home that will house him properly and take into account that he is blind in one eye and be able to keep an eye on it in case the condition of the eye changes. He does eat out of a bowl but prefers to be fed with tongs, and he only drinks from running water so will need a fountain or a dripper or frequent (at least twice a day) spraying. Qualified individuals only, please. This is not a starter pet. Please research Cuban Knight Anoles as they are not your typical tiny pet store anole. The adoption fee is $30 and partially covers the cost of the medication, supplies and food that I have spent so far, and I will also provide a UV bulb and fixture (new) and feeder inects. For an additional $120, I will provide a large cage (3' x 2' x 2.5'), too. He will be ready to go in approximately two weeks. For photos, more information, or to meet him, please contact me.
  8. I am going to buy a couple Atasukis from Capitaine Dragon but I will not be able to see them before I purchase them, and I haven't really taken a good look at one in person before. I was hoping that you might be able to clear up a few questions I have I've heard that the quality is good and that the construction is sturdy. I assume the doors work properly and all that fun stuff. My question really centers around the lid of the cage. I would like to remove the lid and install my own lid (a piece of wood with radiant heat panel and lights built in). Is the screen lid removable? Merci/Thank you!
Veuillez me contacter avec votre prix. Merci, Zoe
