Morbid 0 Posté(e) le 6 octobre 2009 I finally managed to photograph my little beast having dinner.. Note that the floorglass is 4 mm´s thick. Just to let you get the size of this huge beast of a snake. That gigantic dark thing in the background, is the waterbowl.. Actually, it is supposed to have Tealight candles in. Look at those fangs gripping! Partager ce message Lien à poster Partager sur d’autres sites
crowley 0 Posté(e) le 8 octobre 2009 do you feed it exclusively on crickets? Did you test cockroaches? Because lots of insect eaters, especially invertebrate predators, kill the prey by mechanical injuries before death by the venom itself can really occur. Crickets among others. Cockroaches are more resistant to those hurts, and it will be amazing to observe what happens really in a opened circulatory system organism, if the venom is as potent as injected in vertebrate. But maybe you've got already notice something about this subject? Nice beast, of course! Partager ce message Lien à poster Partager sur d’autres sites
Morbid 0 Posté(e) le 8 octobre 2009 Fro the time being. But this is just until it reach a size that allow it to eay pinkie-mice. I did try cochroaches once, but the snake was not interested. It is a snake that lives on meadows, so I wasn´t very surprised. Partager ce message Lien à poster Partager sur d’autres sites
