I just received another mail: Hi Monique I forgot to mention that we have also tested the horse for the Sabino gene, the result is Heterozygous (nSb1) meaning that she will pass the white markings to 50% of foals when bred. I have not seen a white Silver dapple before, Sabino and Silver together is quite unusual. I do not know if there may be others, but I think this is a desirable combination. Carriers of the Silver gene are always valuable!

Today i had the result of the DNA test of Elisabeth, Ee/aa/nZ - The horse can be considered a Black silver dapple, she has the genetic potential to produce Black, Chestnut, or Silver dapple foals.
