Today I went to check on my woma as she was due to lay on the 15th but decide to lay them the 14th. mom on eggs eggs after taking mom off a total of ten good eggs and two little ones that were no good eggs in tray

Congrats and Yes they are so hot when they are babies. I love their baby colors

We had a another nic . drop some babies today. She also was paired with a Stav line hypo DADDY offspring (1 of 13) it is interesting to see how different they are from the first litter. As the first mother had more deep red in her.

I went in to check on the eggs this morning. And this is what I saw And now for some close up Have a great mothers day everyone

Here is a picture of one of the hypos that was produce in the April 28th litter. with a Stav Hypo to a Nic boa. I think the color and contrast is outstanding. The red is far moe intenseified then the picture allows.

Went to the boa room this morning to see how all the girls and boys were doing . Noticed that one cages substrate was very messed about. Looked no babies in there. But knew something was up. Left for three hours and durning that time it decide to rain. Went back to check on her to find 13 babies no slugs. 1 baby was deformed This pairing is a Stav hypo line central male breed to a nic female. I also notice something different I had two boas connected to the same sac Twins the hypos the normals the twins This is the out come when you breed one of these hypos to a hog Island boa

Jungle female breed with a Jungle jag. this was her fist time breeding and she laid 13 good eggs today April 2,2009

One of my female IJ laid 25 eggs on Wednesday March 18,2009 She was breed by my het granite IJ we lost one egg in the transfer from lay bin to incubating box . We feel 2 eggs might not make it but all the rest look great. I had a second female lay 13 eggs and one slug 1 egg will go bad So we have a total of 35 eggs in the incubator Now we wait.

Wanna bet at least half stripers and partial stripers ? Or weird striped Motleys ? No I do not want to bet as I'm pretty sure what the out come will be.

looking at her stripe ovulation pic. most of her breeding was done with a salmon poss het albino. But she did have a few days with one of my motley boas poss het albino. He was aloud to take a break from the albino girl he was with to see if he proves out. So who knows what will pop out. Well good looking babies that much I know.

Here is a pic of a Nic boa I picked out as a baby . It was a the size of a pencil when I came across her and I did not think she would make as she was so tiny but she was different from others I had seen. If you look closely you can see the blue in her. It stands out more in person.

I have seen a lot of posts on Central boas this past week on Reptiles Canada. It is nice to see them becoming more popular. As we feel there is alot of potiental with this boa. Yes I always use aspen for my large boas . The females use it to make birthing nest for when they give birth.

Here is the process of building one of or snake rooms at Two Monsters Exotics. It's about 60% finished as we have not installed all the condo units for the snakes nor have all the snakes been placed in there new homes. The back of the room with the sink and the shelves The front of the room and entrance. Front looking to the back with some condo units in place. All caging is made by Boaphile Another angle the shows the boaphile fatt staxx The thermostats custom made for me by Niagara Reptiles. This are Johnston thermostats. All my caging units have dual thermostat controls on them. the back to front view of the complex. The leftside wall still has another 18 cages to be place on it to complete the setup. And the right wall is still missing 5 units to go onto of the fatt staxx just before the door.
