Just a small clip of my arabesque boa giving birth today

Today we had our first Arabesque boa litter. This was our third litter of the season but one we were looking forward to seeing. Mommy as a young lass daddy as a young lad ( also known as my white pearl boas) We are pleased with the turnout of 5 arabesque and 2 white pearl we still have to wait until they shed but expect a few white pearl arabesque from the litter. So the total was 5 arabesque 2 white pearls and 1 kinked bay and 6 slugs. This was a first time breeding for both parents I'm also working on a small video I took as I arrived just as she was going into labour and caught the birthing on video.

Well things are getting started in the boa room. Here are a few pregant boas we have already. Alas this is only the begining as we all know we now pace the floors until we see the little ones. Alot can happen in the next 2 to 3 months.

What a nice surprise today Albino motley boas This litter was a breeding of Two Monsters Exotics poss het albino motley to KGB'S Reptiles Albino boa. This pairing was the second pairing for the male as the first pairing with another albino female produce 24 slugs. This litter 1 albino 6 albino motleys 4 het albino boas Did not have my camera on me only my video camera so here is a video of the litter with the albino motley boas. I also took some stills as well with the video camera.

He was a joint project with Niagara reptiles my my poss het anery motley to his anery female. the poss het anery proved out to be an motley het anery.

This litter was born last week June 19,2009 this pairing was a coral albino het snow to an imported anery from columbia outcome was 18 aneries het snow and 10 dh snows 2 still borns and 3 slugs Just after birth anery het snows and finally the double hets Here are the parents Mom She is in her prego colors Dad When he was a little bit younger Also if you go to my youtube site twomonstersexotics you can see them courting.

These parents had there first litter today. daddy Mommy the litter the total litter was 17 babies no slugs 5 normals 12 salmon some of which are possible supers . The stripe on the females back was not pasted on to any of the babies.

Here are pics of the babies after they hatched 5 jags and 8 sibs. most of the clutch except maybe a few hiding I like the stripe that runs down this ones back.

Hi Vlad Do you have the complete boa constrictor book by Vincent Russo. Page 133 and 134 You can see them in the book the Nic Type 1 is compatible with the Columbian . Were as the Type 2 is not. Thanks Bayard
