I managed to get a pair ( 1.1 ) of this great looking species. Here is a couple of pictures: Gray is male, and reddish is female.

Fro the time being. But this is just until it reach a size that allow it to eay pinkie-mice. I did try cochroaches once, but the snake was not interested. It is a snake that lives on meadows, so I wasn´t very surprised.

I finally managed to photograph my little beast having dinner.. Note that the floorglass is 4 mm´s thick. Just to let you get the size of this huge beast of a snake. That gigantic dark thing in the background, is the waterbowl.. Actually, it is supposed to have Tealight candles in. Look at those fangs gripping!

I am looking in the incubator every morning and every evening now. It is exciting times now. Chance: I will stay at Hotel Stadt in Hamm september 11-12. www.hotel-stadt-hamm.de Will probably meet some friends at Hotel Mercure in the evenig. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Je regarde dans l'incubateur chaque matin et chaque soirée maintenant. I am going to Terraristika in Hamm, and to Breeders Expo Europe ( BEE ) ( http://www.breeders-expo.de/ ) close to Hamm the day after Hamm. I have table on both shows, in the venomous areas. The cyan-coloured, I do not understand.. I allways give a Breedercertificate, stating that the animals are captivebred, and that their parents allso are bred in captivity. The sliding glass is tilted, yes. To prevent water drops to fall on the eggs. But the incubator have a flat horizontal floor / bottom. ---------------------------------- Hé Chance, Oui, je me sens chanceux.. Merci! Si j'ai vécu en France, pourriez-vous acheter de moi alors ? Vous ne pouviez pas acheter des animaux, si nous avons rencontré je l'Allemagne ou un autre pays ? Que vos lois et règlements disent-ils ? Le verre glissant est incliné, oui. Empêcher l'eau baisse pour se jeter sur les oeufs. Mais l'incubateur a un plancher(étage) horizontal plat / le fond(bas).

Update: All 10 eggs from Z. situla is still fine. 1 egg of E. q. muenteri was bad, and have been taken away. ------------------------- Mise à jour : Tous les 10 oeufs de Z. situla sont toujours excellents. 1 oeuf d' E. q. muenteri était mauvais et a été emporté.

Now I also have 4 eggs from Elaphe quatuorlineata muenteri in the incubator!
