TJ The Blue Bar in the foreground has creases, poor bars and is too open over the back. Please forgive me being blunt but you must not continue to breed with birds as bad as these just because of their pretty colour. The birds in the first 2 photos have far too many faults. Creases in the neck, soft open feathers, deformed weak beak with no frontal head strength. The last photo of the spread ash hen again shows a weak and poorly trimmed beak, the neck is too long and so is the body, it has no station. Please my friends you must see past colour. If you have any good birds of type then you will ruin them breeding them back to pigeons like these just because you like the colour. Do not be offended by my critcisms but you now have an independant club devoted to the ASR. The top breeders in the US & Australia would not keep birds like these. Look at the winning birds & some of the stock bird photos from the USA and Australia ...... they are not all perfect but like them and the Blue Check hen of TJ's they are the type of birds you need to concentrate trying to breed. Strong even flowing heads with good backskull into a bell neck, with a straight out look, strong even mandibles( hard ), tight hard feather, 45 degree station, smooth even flowing heart shaped wattles, small eye cere. Good rich red eye colour. I say this to you without malice. La dernière photo de RC spread montre encore un bec faible et mal équilibré, le cou est trop long et ainsi est le corps, il n'a aucune tenue. Mes amis vous devez voir les anciennes couleurs. Si vous avez des bons oiseaux en type, vous allez les ruiner en élevage avec de nouveau pigeons comme ces derniers juste parce que vous aimez la couleur. Ne soyez pas offensé par mes critiques, mais vous avez maintenant un club indépendant consacré au Show Racer. Les meilleurs sélectionneurs aux USA et en Australie ne garderait pas des oiseaux comme ces derniers. Regardez les oiseaux vainqueurs et certaines des photos courantes d'oiseau des Etats-Unis et d'Australie ...... ils ne sont pas tout parfaits mais comme eux et la bleu écaillée de TJ, ils sont le type d'oiseaux que vous devez essayer de multiplier. Des têtes fortes avec le bon crâne arrière dans un cou conique, avec une impression de puissance. Un bec fort, une plume dure serrée, une tenue de 45 degrés, des morilles en forme de coeur lisses, des petits tours d'oeils. Bonne couleur d'oeil rouge. Je dis ceci à vous sans méchanceté. TJ that is definitely a much better That's one of the best french birds I have seen to date She is very nice & a vast improvement A very showy young hen I am afraid that I cannot say the same about Gilles Blue Bars I have seen some of his photos before and I am sure he has better types that those two. C'est l'un des meilleurs oiseaux français que j'ai vus jusqu'ici. Elle est très gentille et une vaste amélioration. Une jeune poule très voyante. J'ai peur que je ne puisse pas dire la même chose au sujet des barres de bleu de Gilles. J'ai vu qu'une partie de ses photos avant qu'et de moi sois sûr il a de meilleurs types qui ces deux. Je ne multiplierais pas de eux.

In my opinion the best two birds here are the Blue Checker old hen & the Red Checker Young Hen. The rest are all too weak in the frontal & beak, have poor station & course feathering especially in the neck. The only exception to that is the Blue Checker Young cock who stations well & has tight feather. But he is too weak in the beak & wattles & has poor colour. Cheers gnads

Hello TJ This site has been very quiet for a month or so? How are you? I hope your new independant Show Racer Club is up & running without any problems? I have only recently paired my birds up & the first round only produced 3 fertile eggs from 8 pair. I believe I can see some improvements in your young birds Talk later Gnads

Bonjour TJ Félicitations mon ami, à vous et tous vos membres semblables qui ont persévéré et ayez maintenant finalement votre propre club de coureur d'exposition de spécialiste en France. J'espère que vous pouvez maintenant aller de la force au & de force ; comme un seul club de stand a fixé quelques buts unis pour améliorer vraiment le type dans vos coureurs d'exposition. Vous devez faire comme l'Amercians ont fait le et oubliez la couleur. Mettez-la au fond de préférence au type. Travaillez dur pour éliminer des défauts tels que les becs faibles fins, le cours/la plume de cou, les plis, plume rugueux etc de doux/corps lâche. Ce sera un processus dur mais je suis certain que vous avez le encourageant, sera bien plus motivé par le fait que vous êtes maintenant un club de coureur d'exposition de spécialiste. Hello TJ Congratulations my friend, to you & all your fellow members who persevered & now finally have your own specialist Show Racer club in France. I hope you can now go from strength to strength & as a stand alone club set some united goals to really improve the type in your Show Racers. You must do like the Amercians have done & forget colour. Put it to the bottom in preference to type. Work hard to eliminate faults such as fine weak beaks, course/rough neck feather, creases, soft/loose body feather etc. It will be a hard process but I'm certain that you have the incentive & will be even more motivated by the fact that you are now a specialist show racer club. All I can say is that they are not Show Racer's Almond. They look like show type racing pigeons.

TJ I use clippers like you as well as a nail file. Make the beak sit evenly together and only clip off the overhanging part of the top mandible. Then smooth it up & shape it with the nail file.

TJ the "butts" are the rounded end of the wing where it sits against the chest ...... the shoulders of the wing. le "butts" sont l'extrémité arrondie de l'aile où elle repose contre le coffre ...... les épaules de l'aile.

TJ Looking at the other photos here I believe the best Show Racer is the "Best blue Check Old cock" on the front of the forum. He is far in front of any of the others although there is room for improvement. He at least looks the Show Racer type.

Hello TJ I am very well thank you Sad to say I have not breed any young birds this season Many things are happening in my life which has caused neglect of my Show Racers. It is a real dilemma for me. I love these birds very much but my work, my family and other interests have had to come first. I am sorry that I have not been here more often in recent months to see how you are going over in France. You know me my friend I will tell you honestly and perhaps bluntly about what I think of the birds over there. Hello TJ I have just viewed the photos of these Blue Bars. In all honesty there is nothing good I can say about any of them. They are all weak beaked, rough feathered & some poorly presented. Dans toute l'honnêteté il n'y a rien bon je peut dire au sujet d'aucune d'entre elles. Ils sont tous & fait varier le pas rostré et approximatif faible ; certains ont mal présenté. Tristement ils ne sont pas de bons exemples des coureurs d'exposition
