NIce GTP....

Just keep your snake on clean papertowels or new paper.... use topical ointment to prevent infection... After a few sheds, the condition should clear up.... and don't bother trying to feed.... skip a few meals and let the snake use it's energy to heal.. and not digest food.. your snake seems to have good body tone.. Here are a few pics of a BP my neighbor's boy was taking care of... this was the condition he gave him to me in... Here is the same snake 4 weeks later after a little TLC... I didn't take this snake to the vet... not vets do not have their place... I just kept him wet for 3-4 days and got all the old dead skin off.... followed by topical ointment, polyspirin... this snake shed every 10 days for the following 3-4 sheds.. He made a complete recovery... Rob

I've had babies that developed a fair amount of white from this pair... and blue striping as well.... here's a few examples of previous offspring...

Very nice specimen... One piece of advice tho... Your perches are too large...... I have learned in the past few years that it is very important to choose the right sized(diameter) perches for emeralds... branches that are too large can cause kinking in the 2-3 inches of the tail-tip....Your's seem large for my tastes... here's what I mentioned in another corallus forum--> "Well, it's good that we can agree to disagree $%^... If you have a look see in that picture you posted, you will notice that the tail curving back and forth accross the flat surface of that branch... Over time, this tail tip(1 - 2 inches) will begin to kink as day after day, month after month it is being contorted, instictually trying to get a better grip on a surface that is impossible..
