    Les oeufs!!!!

This one has bred 2 seasons back to back and is getting this next year off... I would say they should have every second year off.... One thing I should add however, is if you take the female off the eggs, that is 60 days more they are able to put weight back on... This should not make the keep er think females can be bred year after year after year.... Rob

    Les oeufs!!!!

Final count was 11 good ones and 9 duds... All the good ones have decent veining throughout... 50 + days to go... Rob

    Night Drop pour GTP?

Either method will not kill your snakes!!! I just find it a tad bit more natural to let the cages cool off a bit at night, as I'm sure this is what happens where they are from... Rob

    Night Drop pour GTP?

My cages experience a night drop 365 days a year... However, during the months when I am cooling my breeders, the NTLs ( night time lows) are much lower ie: into the high 60s low 70s... The rest of the year, after all the lights and heat panels shut off, the room drops about 5 degrees at night.. Rob
  10. I have 3 little snapper left, all eating well on small fuzzies... priced at 600.00 each. Thks for your interest Rob McRobbie rob_mcrobbie@hotmail.com
  11. I am trying to fund another project so I am putting this female up for sale. She is around 600 grams presenty ( I can weigh her) and she is eating live rats. I will also include with her a 100% het male for free. I am asking 2700. Thks for your interest. Rob McRobbie
  12. with the amikacin shots and the heat boosted up, you should see results.... when I use baytril, the shots are given intramuscular and not uner the skin... under the skin is what causes the burning and scarring... j Just keep doing what you're doing and don't worry about food for right now..... your vet was wrong with regards to thinking the snake needed nourishment... it needs to get over this infection first and when the wheezing clears up and it's mouth begins to look better then you should start offering food.... 2-3 weeks of treatment and proper hydration, without food is not going to harm your snake.... and give the gtp bigger perches to rest on.. they seem a little small. Baby GTP

Migoune, Those are some nice pics!! They hatched on March 12 I believe.... Rob
  14. Dont feed the snake while it is sick.... Rather than using it's energy to heal and the fight the infection, it's system is trying to digest food..... leave the meals be... let the snake get better before you start offering food.... trust me.. Rob
  15. Paul, You should have called me... I have some baytril that is still good... I find the IM injections combined with the heat cranked up generally clears up RIs quite well and in a short time.... Call me anyways if you are still having issues.... Rob
  16. Wow son surpurbe Rene!!!! Congrats..... I need some!!! Rob

    Y'a de l'amour dans l'air???

Migoune, Now is not the time of year to begin introductions.... You are better off waiting until Dec-Jan and start lowering your temps then... you will be surprised how your male will come to life and sperm counts should be higher after manipulating the temps... Rob

    Aidez moi! Quel sexe!

Looks like a female to me..... you'll only really know if you probe it... I'm not good at popping.... Rob

    Boa Emeraude

I can't tell if you are being sarcastic or not.... These snakes require very little food actually... I let mine hunt for a good week or more before offering them anything... ---> emeralds will eat more than they safely should... they are very solitary in nature and as well, very opportunistic feeders... so they will usually not let a meal pass them by as in the wild, they never know when the next one might come.... Other species such as kingsnakes.. they will move considerable distances in search of food, as opposed to sitting in one spot and waiting for prey to come to them... So if you want to give your emerald the best chance for a long life... forget to feed it every once in a while... it will do nothing but good... Rob
