  1. Thanks! Ya I plan on getting cork tile or bark...Tile is stupid expensive so I may just buy a bunch of cork rounds at work to break up and put on the walls. He canclimb and hide behind them
  2. Well, Kai has a new enclosure, it should work for a while , if not....a bigger one wont hurt Many thanks to my friend Jeff for building them! I was amused with decorating The bottom one will be for the Tiger Rat Snake. Dont mind the mess, everything was being moved around

    BABIES!!! YUS!

I think I drove my boyfriend a bit crazy when my friend told me Ayres was having babies. I missed it but WOW am I ever happy!!!! She's my pride and joy, and happy for her to be a mom!! Nothing spectacular, what appears to be 1 hypo, 1 abherent and 4 broken stripes, also just 1 slug with 2 stillborns. Hard to say until they shed for sure. One of the still borns is telling me we have 2 dads here. A hypo for sure locked with her, but that one still born plus the broken stripes says Genetic stripe! Lol Not alot fo babies but that is ok! Im going to be greedy and keep them all LOL day before birth BABIES!!! Born the night of february 16th spitting image of mom one of the stillborns Im a happy grandma (LOL)

    I Need A Diagnosis...

Im not a ball breeder, and I dont really want to be big time if/when I ever do breed them. Both are male, and Im fine with that. I wouldnt care if they all were males. Im going to try with the 2 you mentioned, as you never know what will happen until you try.
  6. on myself that is. I keep telling myself, and others that Im not a ball python person. I like my boas, rearfanged and monitors moreso. However I just cant stay away from the weird ones... I decided to post photos of the ball pythons , 90% of them are the boyfriends, I only have so called normals lol. Out of all of them 2 are missing in the photos. Anyway, photos!! First up are the ball pythons my boyfriend own proven breeder female, told she sits above 1900g, hidious photos, sorry another normal female male Bee Satan's Son aka Evil Spider of Doom Female Pastel Low Contrast Albino male male Pin male Cinny Ringer Not So Evil male Spider Male Mojave Next are my not so normal normals. "Funky Monkey Dinker" ..funky looking, and doesnt stop moving!!! Beware, there will be lots of photos of him Belly next is my male Desert wannabe "dinker" Kinked Neck Dinker female normals together Now only if half of those were female LOL what would my diagnosis be?? :p
  7. . I mist it heavily twice a day, being the enclosure is sealed I don't anymore than that. I plan on getting cork this week. I just bought small waxworms and TINY silkworms for them to try tomorrow:)
  8. Dont forget I sealed the netting to prevent humidity loss. phoenix worms are a great idea! I dont know where to get them though. Photo of the enclosure, like I said, not the best for them as they cannot glide but it's good otherwise... it is only temporary until I build a huge one for them to glide in. I added ALOT more substrate too. This is while it was still being made.
  9. Thy Real Dragon!! Ok, ok. I know some people may not like it, others find it intriguing. I wanted to give them a shot. Before I get bashed, I know the requirements, that I have researched. They are ant eaters, and grubs which is the main problem that people have. I have been told/read that no one can get them eating crickets, or very hard to. I managed to get them to eat 3 mealworms each without any issues (though a grub). It's not going to be a staple at all as the low nutritional content the mealies have. Im going to be trying a variety of small waxworms, butters, pillbugs and woodlouses(I have a colony believe it or not) and other small bugs....and Im going to try 1/4" crickets. I have them in a what looks to be a little over 2.5x2.5x2' flexarium that they got lost in lol. I have the sides, top and front sealed aside from air vents and 5.0 UVB, basking spot ranging from 87-95F. They drank lots of water and are hopping around like little mad men. I know it is not enough room for them at the moment, but it is only temporary to ensure they will do ok. I do want to give them at least a 4x4x2 enclosure with some "gliding" space if they do well. Here be, Draco volans! Unfortunately, both are males but I plan to get a few females tomorrow if any are kickin around Male 1 Male 2 checking out a hold in the wood "Wing" (elongated ribs) partially exposed
  10. Ive heard about that, more so read about it not to long ago. The humidity isnt at 100%, only sits around 75% unless misted as clowns and the bumblebees are good at that level. The bees need around 60- 80% as the clowns 70-80%. Works for the moment, but I do plan to have another terrarium done up for the bees shortly!
  11. I want to go visit!! Why do I have to live in Toronto now. Closest I got was talking to Stav on the phone lmao! Looking good guys! P.S Where is the website?!
  12. I have a few new additions, well, more so a collaboration with the bf who has bred Red Eyes and Darts in the past. He created the set up, which I love and the amphibs seem to love! Im not creative enough to make one lmao. I dont have them at the house, but when I do see them, lots of photos are taken!! Enough rambling and photos instead I guess. First off we have a few Hyla leocophyllata, Clown Tree Frogs, only half grown. next we have Melanophryniscus stelzneri/klappenbachi , Bumble Bee Walking "Toads"...so-called "toads" that have smooth skin and lack Parotid glands. I dont know what the exact species names are for them, or if I even have 2 different species alone. The one-eyed wonder lol
  13. Not everyone...but most!!! and not all boas LOL I like the jumpy and worthless as well Im bored, I had a camera...this happens!!!! Beware of how many photos are on here! Ayres, as usual. 66% het albino gal. Looks to be getting nice and fat. I had to reluctantly pull her out today to clean a giant mess of watery goodness....ahhhh....thought that would be a good chance to get photos of her growing belly. What do you guys think? and the lady a few weeks ago Zyphin(Genetic Stripe 66% het albino male) and Star (Stav line Pastel probably poss. het something being from Stav) Zyphin when he wasnt so busy Im being watched.. Ember, my "possible" Motley Hypo in blue...growing like a weed! I swear it seems like she just shed 2 weeks ago. Aeroh, my het albino. I hope to pair him up with Ayres one day..I love their grey color and black tail Frost, Anery het albino a stunning male Pastel having a snack (not named) Sakura Male Dumeril Ridiculously bad photo of Mr Pine Snake lol Mr Pissy-Pants Blitz Azrael I love this photo Raikou's "I KEEL YOU" look Tsunami and Typhoon (female = bigger one and male) Oh, and Moonstone, kinked neck and tail, but a great eater nonetheless...never thought I would have a BP lol. I had to take this girl in though The No-Namers..have 1.2 but eh. One will do. Horrid photo Zenmai (Zen) the Peachthroat Tonka...lol..Truck :p My amazing little Kai. Im obsessed with this little one Arashi, female Black and Yellow Anery?? WTF? LOL No Idea whats going on with her This is a photo of her "fired up" believe it or not and when she is in her "dark"phase this is when I first got her, with Azure. She's fattened up ALOT since then with her psychotic attacks on pinkies and crickets Azure I have a Leopard Gecko as well...buuuuuuuuuuut he went on an adventure lol..any tips on that would be great I think that is almost everyone LOL. Might be missing one or two as I have no photos of them Enjoy!! Anyone care to add theirs?
  14. hahahha that is exactly what I thought
  15. Ah, havent posted to to much here, so might as well now Latest news,Zenmai(Royal Fern in Japanese) aka Zen, a peachthroat has come in residence to my place. Typical jobiensis attitude but a bit less skittish then I thought. He/she is currently basking in the open. Which Im happy to see only after a day here. Next addition to the clan (not mine but I still live with him!) is Tonka, a very outgoing albigularis. I was expectin this bugger to be a bit shy and run when approached in any way, but he sits there and watches..and is already running up my arm for food. After much digging and Kokuryukai Sinjin (aka Kai) who was bought as a male then looked to be female but is starting to look awefully masculine to me, as well as a few other varanid keepers. it has one "large" lower jaw that gets me thinking male..time will tell though. Only recent photos of him/her are out of the enclosure as it was being completely cleaned out horrible photo but look at those menacing dinosaur food crazy eyes LOL Not really but it sure looks like it

    Breeding Updates!

My girl Ayres that was with my Genetic Stripe and my Aby Hypo...unsure who did the deed, but I saw my Hypo copulate with her. She's due February 8th roughly. She looks so teeny when tightly coiled in her heat conservation position. She's either constantly on the move or like this. Strange cookie she is. She will be 4 this coming April On another note, Zyphin, my genetic stripe certainly has his work cut out for him now. Nick Findlay let me use his big '04 Stav Line Pastel ..she almost looks Peruvian LOL She has a bit of nose rub, no biggie though. Zyphin will be 3 this coming June..small little tyke as my '09s are almost as big as him! Slowly trying to get everything back together after my mass reptile selling and moving...turns out I sold them for no reason in the end Damn changes in life.
  18. Tsunami, my 8' female FWC laid 3 eggs today/so far. 1 looks like a slug for sure (dents when touched and smaller then the others) and the other 2 are quite plump. Not sure if they are fertile though as they feel a bit like a balloon .not as bad as the "slug" at least. Time will tell I guess!! I didnt have the "slug" looking one in the photo. Tsunami, being held by Jeff. Hopefully the eggs so far are fertile
  19. LOL. Would you happen to have past photos or no? Also birthdate? Just curious!!
  20. LOL ya eh?? I never though I would find one as nice as Nicks...but I think I may have! All the Tiger Rats I have ever seen (aside from Nicks) have been kinda ugly lol...I HAD to get this one There is a reason as to why it is as nice as mine... It's from the same clutch as mine... Come's from Michelle at primareptilia. I believe your's is male.... Weird that it's only 6 feet though... My male is pushing 9 feet and my female 7 feet!! I'm introducing my male to my female this week. Crossing my fingers for positive results. Beautiful! My favorite species by far!! hahha that would make sense if he is indeed from the same clutch. Mine is male, so I was told....he's at least 6 feet...maybe 7 at most. I hope your guys work out!! I want to see..BABIES!!!!!!!!!!!! Again, I blame you for this.
  21. LOL ya eh?? I never though I would find one as nice as Nicks...but I think I may have! All the Tiger Rats I have ever seen (aside from Nicks) have been kinda ugly lol...I HAD to get this one
  22. Tiger Ratsnake anyway!!! Picked up this beauty from Manticore Imports today! Merci! He is a real stunner!!!!
  23. Me? Geckos? More of a snake/monitor person but hey! Why not Tokays. I saw a stunning Tokay today at work....with yellow spots? Never seen one like that before...regenerated tail but that is okay. She looks female to me, so I picked up a male "normal" as well....set them up yesterday...the male was fired up with a nice blue color last night but the female was still VERY black but active...maybe she is naturally all black and yellow with little blue coloration? I only noticed a few blue spots on her when "fired up" from what I have seen so far. They are a bit on the thin side. That will change! Here are some photos The enclosure..the "male" is at the bottom
